Linda Burroughs, LMSW

Linda Burroughs welcomes people who are ready to seek support and make meaningful changes in their lives. She recognizes that asking for help takes courage and treats that step as an important beginning. With more than 35 years of experience in social work, she has worked across settings that address the medical, social, and emotional needs of both children and adults.

Her background includes providing home-based services for people with physical disabilities, supporting at-risk mothers, and assisting adults coping with depression, anxiety, and loss. She has also served as a school social worker, overseen special education programs in administrative roles, led an early childhood building as principal, and taught as an adjunct professor. These varied positions have contributed to a broad clinical skill set and deep practical knowledge for helping people build self-awareness and lasting well-being.

Linda believes that personal growth comes from within for those committed to improving their quality of life. She acknowledges that change requires effort but affirms that desired outcomes are attainable. Her role is to listen carefully, help clients develop constructive strategies, and celebrate progress as they move forward. Her qualifications include licensure in the state of Michigan as an LMSW - a Licensed Master Social Worker - completion of 45 hours of post-graduate training, a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, a state teaching certificate, and a Bachelor of Science from Central Michigan University.
