Driven by a desire to make therapeutic support accessible, Michelle founded The Listening Tree, an affordable local counselling and hypnotherapy service that she has operated for over eight years. As part of her practice she has taught hypnotherapy and counselling to students up to level 5 and provides supervision to practising counsellors and hypnotherapists.
Her clinical background includes extensive bereavement work, including a placement with CRUSE during which she completed over 150 hours. She has completed an Advanced Hypnotherapy Course with Higher Perspectives and is a qualified hypnotherapy supervisor. Since graduating she has recorded more than 1,000 hours of counselling and 500 hours of hypnotherapy and has collaborated as an affiliate with organisations such as Anxiety UK, Ben, Mates in Mind, Professional Help Redarc, Randstad, Griefchat and Vita Health Ltd.
Alongside her clinical roles, Michelle has supported students and mature learners through mentoring, particularly those aged 16 to 25 and returning adult students facing complex mental or physical health challenges.
